Artistically hand painted antique Chinese plate of medium size. The piece has the Rose Medallion or Mandarin Rose pattern. Two of the segments show people in characteristic Chinese costumes and the other two are showing richly painted birds and flowers. This is real Chinese porcelain of the 19th century, and not the modern reproductions.

Blue and white tea bowl with scalloped rim and pagoda decoration, Qianlong c 1760-80. Interestingly, the Chinese decorator has made an abrupt cut in the mountainous landscape scene (cf. picture 3) so as to give an impression of a printed pattern, the way it is sometimes seen on early English - competitive - transferware where this of course always was a mistake due to this new technology. Unusual. Height 2" / 5 cm. Condition: minimal chip to outer rim.

Tea bowl with enamelled blue and gilt decoration, Jiaqing c 1800. The blue inside border with small stars in gilt makes it probable that the bowl was intended for the American market. Height: 2" / 5 cm, diam: 3 1/2" / 9 cm. Condition: rim frits.

A Rose mandarin /Canton Famille rose ecuelle, soup bowl and cover, with double strapped handles and gilt finial, c 1820-40. Height: 4" / 10 cm, diam. of cover: 6 1/4" / 16 cm. Condition: a restoration above each handle, hairlines, some rubbing to the gilding and rim frits to the lid (cf pics).

Chinese tea bowl with very thinly engraved sgraffito decoration of a lady in her garden. Illegible seal mark in red. The hairstyle of the lady points to the Republic period, around 1930. Height: 2 1/4" / 6 cm. Condition: minor chip to the inside of the foot rim.

Chinese teapoy, urn-shaped with scrollwork around the base. European style decoration in Famille rose enamels, Qianlong, c 1750. Height: 4 3/4" / 12 cm. Condition: lid: restuck and a chip inside rim, urn: unprofessional restoration to rim.

The charger is 2.45 inches (6 cm) tall, and 12.5 inches (31.5 cm) in diameter.

Chinese Export octagonal tea bowl and saucer with foliate rims, Kangxi, c 1700. Iron red and gilt decoration of "Lange Lijzen" - long Lizas - a nickname for the slim ladies often found on the porcelain of the time. Diameter of saucer “4½/11,5 cm and of cup ”2¾/7 cm. Condition: minimal chip and hairline to the saucer, otherwise fine

A large and beautifully potted blue and white ginger jar. It is a scene of a dragon and phoenix chasing after the "Pearl of Fire" between heaven above and the sea below. Both the dragon and the phoenix are elaborately drawn with much details. The ginger jar also has the original porcelain cover as well.

There are some minor firing faults, expected degradation, chips and minor losses, abrasions...

A very thinly potted small blue and white Ming dynasty saucer. It is so thinly potted that if held against the light, we can see through it. The centre of the saucer has a flower that looks like a lotus pod in a double circle. The porcelain is slightly grayish in colour. It has the Cheng Hua (1465-1487) six character mark and of the period.

There are minor firing faults with frittings and chips along the rim and base. No hair line crack...

A beautifully decorated famille rose/verte hexagon shaped tazza with 5 different brightly coloured gold fish swimming in a hexagon shaped pond surrounded by water lilies, lotus and water plants. The underside of the tazza is decorated with iron red bamboo leave. The base of the tazza bears the four-character minyao reign mark of Tongzhi (1862-1874) and of the Qing Dynasty period.

The gold fish tazza is in good condition with no restoration...

An unusual, aesthetically painted, beautiful and well designed Qing dynasty blue and white high bowl (or stem bowl). The stand of the bowl is like the bud of a lotus flower. The underside of the everted rim resembles a lotus flower in full bloom. On the surface of the everted rim is a pair of Chinese carps, which symbolises marital bliss, and are shown jumping out of the pond. This is a brightly decorated and colourful famille rose medium size bowl. On top of the bowl, the rim is surround by a series of small blue colour enamelled ruyi head. At the bottom, it is surrounded by upright blue colour lappets in rectangular design. In between the ruyi head and the lappets, is alternating blooming lotus flower and green colour lotus seed pod surrounded by meandering and branching foliage. The porcelain of the bowl is light grey in colour and not white.
