This is a southern song brush washer from longquan kiln

Superb elegant shaped of blue and white, well balance potted and decorated with open mouth Dragon on the body and with three claws , the upper side with a pair of dragons face to face with the center of diaper pattern mouth rim above lotus flower head. Condition is very good excepted chips on the horn of dragons, the glazed is gone due to excavated piece on South Sulawesi. No any cracks, free from any restoration and no any other chip. Unusually large Sung Dynasty powder box / container with muted molded design on lid. Nice uniform glaze. Note, there is an apparent hairline on the outer portion of lid which appears only to some extent on the inside of lid.
