Rare porcelain vase with marbled decoration. The oxides are passed randomly to imitate marble.This type of decoration imitating stones is rare, the known examples are most often clumsily executed. Our vase is an exception because the imitation of marble is perfect both in the design of the veins and their color. Also the double gourd shape is interesting.Chinese work from the end of the 18th century, reign of Qianlong or Kiaking.

Porcelain Shou-Lao. In one hand he holds a stick ending in a deer's head which is usually his companion, and in the other hand a peach of longevity. The glassure is covered with enamels of the rose family. It is rare to encounter this type of porcelain Divinity of very small size. The Iron red is of the best colour.

It has auspicious patterns, beautiful blue color. And it has tiny roughness on the edge of mouth, however it is a character of works made at Jingdezhen kiln, Japanese people loved them because they didn't like perfectness.
