Amitayus is considered the giver of a long life and in Buddhismus embodies a crowned and dignified Buddha from the lotus family.
He is depicted meditating on the lotus seat and holding his hands in the gesture of equanimity. In many depictions he holds an ambrosia vase in his hands filled with the nectar of longevity and immortality...
Very small and finely cast statue, with great details, of Adubuddha Vajrasattva, his eyes closed in meditation, wearing diadem, jewelry and dhoti, sitting cross-legged on a lotus throne, his right hand holding the vajra and his left the ghanta. Bronze, with fine dark green patina. Tibet, 19th century. Height: 4.6 cm. Very good condition.

Antique Tibetan tall bronze butter lamp for a Buddhist altar. Traditionally, the butter lamp would burn ghee. Tibetan antique set of 3 heads from a khatvanga ritual staff. The Tantric (esoteric) Buddhist ceremonial staff would have been held by an advanced practitioner during ceremonies and was a sacred object assisting in the rule over subtle bodies of energy. The three human heads (fresh, dried and bare skull), which once adorned the top of the staff in a stacked position, represent the 3 poisons of lust, hate and delusion...
19th Century Nepalese Shaman Sculpture with traces of yellow and red pigment and an incredible, dense, dark patina. So thick and dark is the amazing patina that the necklace that covers the chest and back, and the carvings on the skirt, are barely visible. The hole on the bottom indicates that this was likely the handle of a dagger or staff. The old customs seal is also on the bottom. 8 inches, 20 cm. Very Good Condition.
