12th Century Conical Pure Celadon Bowl with perfect color and rare, sublime form. 6w x 2h inches, 15w x 5h cm.
This interesting early 19th century Korean hand thrown blue and white vase is 9” high and 5” wide from the widest part. It depicts several plants and has texture style patterns in blue over the pale gray background. It is in excellent condition.
Late Choson period, ca. 1900
Decorated in cobalt blue with a design of chrysanthemum and bamboo, stoutly potted and glazed with a clear glaze of faintly aqua tint. Very minor glaze pitting and surface scratches, slight wood ash dusting seen mostly on the shoulder of one side, small amount of sand adhering to the foot, otherwise very good condition.

This well balanced shallow dish applied with a beautiful sea-green
crackled and transparent celadon glaze overall, set on a raised ring foot,
its foot rim unglazed and its base sea-green celadon glazed.
It’s in very good condition with a few short hairline cracks on the rim.

Painted on two sides with a floral spray in underglaze cobalt blue, highlighted with copper red. Likely over-fired causing the lower body to sag on one side. The clear, bluish tinged glaze was applied thickly and ran during the firing causing the blurring of the design on one side and an almost disappearance of the design on the other side.
