Antique, 18th-19th century, Indo-Persian, Islamic rare divination bowl, also called Magic Bowl or Medicinal bowl. The bowl is made of turned and hand-finished cast brass of typical rounded form, with an averted rim pierced with a small hole, allowing a suspension cord to be fitted. The center of the bowl has a tapering central boss amongst Arabic writing. The inner surface is decorated with talismanic and Koranic symbols in Arabic writings, with three Mihrab and six paisley (boteh) form panels...

Antique from the mid to late 19th century Turkish Ottoman hand blown emerald, green, Beykoz glass, Islamic, small Hookah- Huqqa (Narguile) pipe with a copper stem heart. The upper body with a bulbous shape is finely hand-painted and enameled with flower sprays. The lower part of the body and the base is molded in the form of the star with golden borders. The copper stem heart is with a cork core.

19th Century Persian Mughal Kard Jade with Silver Inlay Handle Dagger with Gilt Inscription at the Blade

The overall measurement is 10.6 inches (26.9 cm) long by 1.25 inches (3.2 cm) wide. The blade is 6.3 inches (16 cm) long by 0.75 inch (1.9 cm) wide. It is 0.2 Lb.

The jade handle has chips. The blade is tarnished and has small dents and oxidation. It also has loss of gilding, oxidation, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos)...

Naser-Al-Din Shah ruled from 1848 until his assassination the day before country was celebrating his 50th year of his reign on 1898...

Antique 19th century North African Islamic Moroccan, Berber terracotta pottery double handled vessel in the form of amphora. The vessel is hand painted around the body and neck, in pale red and black, with classic Berber tribal geometrical designs.

CONDITION: In good condition considering its age. It shows its age and uses, with nice old patina. No repairs or restorations.

This silver box, of lobed medallion form, has a hinged lid decorated with geometric and floral repousse work in prominent relief. The sides are incised with floral elements with a caligraphic cartouche in the front. The base is also incised with a floral design surrounded by a band of small repeating triangles. The entire box is fashioned from solid sheet silver. There is some wear and light tarnish.

Antique pair of Turkish square side tables with elaborate mashrabiya openwork on the sides. This traditional Islamic lattice work is the same that is used on mashrabiya balconies, an architectural element used to help cool the upper floors of buildings. The tops of the tables are inlaid with mother of pearl with a star form in the center and bands of geometric tessellations on the exterior border.

Antique 18th-19th century Yemen, Islamic Yemeni Arab dagger, Khanjar Jambiya with belt. A broad, slightly curved, double-edged iron blade formed with a pronounced medial ridge on each side, the shaped silver hilt finely repousse and engraved with chevrons decorated with filigree work and adorned with large pyramidal shaped protrusions.

A wooden scabbard is covered on the front with low grade eastern silver decorated in openwork with scrolling vegetation...

A small box made of wood or papier-maché with hinged lid. Painted decoration under a lacquered varnish, showing the rose and nightingale motif "gul-u-bulbul". Provenance: a gentleman's collection, Geneva - Switzerland. Condition: traces of usage, the varnish is very glossy, lid slightly bent (please look at the photos carefully, they make part of the condition report). Dimension: c. 11.7 cm x 4.4 cm x 2.5 cm.
