Antique pair of Turkish square side tables with elaborate mashrabiya openwork on the sides. This traditional Islamic lattice work is the same that is used on mashrabiya balconies, an architectural element used to help cool the upper floors of buildings. The tops of the tables are inlaid with mother of pearl with a star form in the center and bands of geometric tessellations on the exterior border.

This silver box, of lobed medallion form, has a hinged lid decorated with geometric and floral repousse work in prominent relief. The sides are incised with floral elements with a caligraphic cartouche in the front. The base is also incised with a floral design surrounded by a band of small repeating triangles. The entire box is fashioned from solid sheet silver. There is some wear and light tarnish.

Composite panel of antique Ottoman embroideries, made into a rectangular shaped woman’s prayer cloth indicating qibla, the direction of prayer. Made in the Ottoman city of Salonika or Kavala. The basic fabrics are different plain weaves, embroidered with silk and silver wrapped threads, crocheted together. Two patches with a kind of floral needle weaving. Bordered with a green ribbon and later lining. Condition: stained and flawed areas, missing threads, faded. Dimension: 159.5 cm x 98 cm.

A large silver tray of oval form with applied scrolling handles. The sloping sides of the salver with repousse decoration in the Turkish baroque style. Tughra and two other marks to either end of the tray, each handle with two hallmarks. Description: Fine antique Persian copper bowl, late Quajar period, a band of engraved Persian poem from poet Hafez fallowed by geometrical design. On the base a horse in sitting position with a bird with open wings on the horse's back.
