Antique hand carved wooden American eagle figure with gilded gesso finish, supported on a modern faux marble plinth. 19th century. Size: 13.75" overall height (10.25" ht. eagle alone) x 13.5" wide x 6" deep. There is minor flaking to the gilded surface and some chips at the tips of both wings.

A large Tang Changsha bowl from belitung or batu hitam shipwreck, bowl decorate with green and iron brown motif covered with creamy white glaze. Bowl is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, there is some glaze flacking and degradation on the surface. Size: 20.5 cm diameter.

Description: A silver folding comb was exquisitely decorated on the surface. By excellent chasing skill, a pair of dragon and phoenix were vibrantly rendered among the scrolling cloud. "Deserted Station" watercolor painting by Frederick Clay Bartlett, Jr. (American, 1907-1955). Signed lower right and dated Sept. 1942. Clay Bartlett was a Vermont artist with a residence in Manchester, VT. He was a member of the Southern Vermont Artists from 1934-1951.
