By a geometric pattern of lines and circles which were composed by dozens of pointed clay dunes on the outer surface, the stem-cup was applied with the milky-yellow glaze inside and outside until to the portion of the stem trunk.

Traditionally the style and shape of these old Tibetan wool boots was used by all Buddhist monks, and were considered part of the monks costume. The specific decorative cut pattern and colors of fabric indicated the area of Tibet and the position of the Monk. I am not able to identity the Tibetan region or station of the monk who worn this particular pair of boots

A Yuan dynasty white glaze Shufu stem cup, this stem cup has high foot with rounded side, an everted lip and spreading stem, inside the stem cup there is two scaly dragons chasing flaming pearl, the stem cup covered with opaque white Shufu or Luanbai glaze.

A well painted pair of Kangxi style rouleau shaped vases decorated in underglaze blue with branches of prunus blossom. Rare pair of sterling silver kinetic earrings by important New York Modernist Sam Kramer, circa 1950s. The earrings are constructed with a biomorphic shape with a raised bar from which another shape dangles freely. Each earring measures 1.25" long. Description: A Ming Longquan long-neck bottle was in decent look. When heavily potted, the bottle was inscribed on the surface with pattern of flower scrolls. Immense glaze bubbles were yielded under the celadon glaze like mist. Light incursions were caused to the mouth rim while firing red was obviously found in the body clay at the foot ring. It is a nice Longquan piece from Zhejiang province. Date: Ming Dynasty(AD1368-1644) , Height: 26cm.

Description: A celadon Longquan stem-cup was well molded. By a dark green tint, the glaze was well applied all over the surface except the foot ring. Motifs of flowers and branches were finely incised on the inner wall of the bowl and subtly revealed under the glaze. Authenticating firing red was obvious at the unglazed foot ring and the inside of the looped foot trunk. In quite good size and a perfect condition, the stem cup stands well in a decent look...

Wonderful champagne ice bucket, or "seau" circa 1950's/60's, from France. To advertise their product, champagne houses would give these buckets to restaurants as a point of sale item, they were not sold. This bucket was never circulated - it is NOS (new old stock). Marked "Montebello" in enamel, "Champange" & "Chateau de Mareuil s/Ay." Nice grape detail below the handles. Chrome over brass; measures 8" tall 7-3/4" across.

Amazing find! Beautiful vintage double sided school poster from France - was used in classroom for lessons circa 1940's-50's. Description: A nephrite Houtien jade carving was very well rendered as two monkeys. By a good-wished metaphor of Being High Ranking Officials Generations after Generations, the monkey mother was holding hands with baby monkey face to face. In a celadon tint, the jade piece was done by traditional craftsmanship. It is a very good example for Chinese jade carving for the characteristics of jade carving skills and jade material. Date: Qing Dynasty, Dimensions: 4.2cm x 3.5cm x 1.6cm.

This is Ming dynasty, Wanli period deep polychrome large swatow bowl. It stands on a short foot rim with a recess base. From the foot rim, it everted slightly and upwards, and then towards a mildly everted mouth rim.

Description: A wood covered box was made for scholar use. Carved from one solid block of Suanji wood, the scholar box was preserved with original and perfect condition. By a fine size, hefty weight and good patina, the scholar box can still be in practical use and in nice atmosphere. Date Qing Dynasty( late 19th century), Dimension: 12.2cm x 9.5cm x 4.0cm. Material: Suanji wood. THE PATINA IS MUCH DARKER IN REAL THAN IN THE PICTURES.

Description: An ivory seal was exquisitely carved on the top as a unique Lingzhi knob. By a charming and enduring aged patina, the seal was obviously used by scholars as a private stamp from the well carved print which was in literati meaning.
