The most fun Sigi Pineda earrings I have ever had, this set is in fact the first in a series of three pairs I will be presenting, all in the same design vein. Quirky and definitely playful, the figures look as if springing out of a child's sketch book. Human? Penguin? A combination of the two? Classic Tiffany elegance shines in this wonderfully executed 18Kt yellow gold brooch. This design has recently been featured in Madeline Albright's book Read My Pins. The X shaped tie in the center is platinum set with 11 full cut diamonds that have an approximate total weight of .45 carats. The pin is 2 3/4 inches long and 1 5/16 inches at its widest. The pin is marked "TIFFANY & CO" and "750" (18Kt) on the back.
Sculptural rosewood and sterling silver object c. 1951 signed by American and Taxco, Mexican artist William Spratling (1900-67). The design measures 3 1/4" tall and features 3 silver rings that move or spin around the base. Signed on the reverse with the rare SPRATLING OF MEXICO hallmark used for only 1 year (1951). Rare and magnificent repousse sterling silver pectoral necklace & earrings designed and signed c.1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Margot van Voorhies Carr.
Margot passed in 1985. The necklace has a wearable length up to 16 1/2 inches. Each swan is 3 1/4"L X 1 1/2"W. 18th century New England round tilt-top hutch/chair table. Pine. Size: 46 inches diameter x 28 inches ht. Shoe feet, scrolled arms, sliding seat storage compartment in base. Top may be pegged closed as a table or hinged to an upright position in order to save space and used as a chair. The seat in the base slides out to reveal storage beneath. Condition: refinished but with an attractive mellow surface with old patch repair to top (see photos). Nice overhang allows for plenty of leg room.

Made of fine quality of metal material, the bronze censer was in good weight of 208 gram when in a lovely size of 6.1 cm in width and 4.6cm in height. By a unique trumpet form, the bronze bowl was easy to hold in the palms feeling the warmth, sniffing the aroma of the burning incense when in incense practicing ritual. Well crackled, the glaze was reflected retrospective sheen for verifying the enduring age.
By shallow profile and stand with three nicely mold feet, the censer was added with two arched loops on the mouth rim.
The paste revealed inside the censer and under the bottom was in light-buff tint and was in soft –feel quality.
A dimpled glaze condition was on the side...

Elegant hand wrought 940 sterling silver pin designed & signed c. 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). Pin measures 2" X 2". Beautiful condition and patina. Pin back and safety in fine working order. Fully hallmarked on the reverse. Aguilar designs are included in the permanent 20th century Mexican silver collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Rare and beautiful Fred Davis chevron bracelet.This bracelet is featured on page 27 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. They date this bracelet c.1930. The bracelet measures 7 1/2" end to end and is 1 1/8" wide. It is in fine original condition with a secure push in clasp and weighs 44 grams. It is signed for Fred Davis as shown in the photo. All of the work of Fred Davis is very desirable and collectible as it is very difficult to come by. A beautiful example of his work.

Evald Nielsen ( 1879-1958 ) opened his workshop in Denmark in 1907. His style is very similar to that of Georg Jensen and there are those who think Nilesens' work is of even better quality. This spectacular sterling and lapis Art Nouveau pin measures 2 1/8" by 2 1/8". The bursting lapis bud provides the focal point of the pin and is surrounded by luscious sterling foliage. It is in beautiful original condition and signed as shown. It is magnificent in every way.
