This porcelain jar of globular form was made during the 19th century toward the latter part of the Choson (Joseon) Dynasty. The underglaze blue decoration comprises floral patterns and two bands surrounding the neck. By traditional designs on the patterns of the sea waves, this wood scholar dish was surrounded on the rim with scrolling water.
Purplish oxidation was happened to the surface when grayish deposition was found within the crevices.

This pair of Kingfisher hair ornaments are from my personal collection. The kingfisher bird feathers are in very good condition and the ornaments are 4 inches across at their widest point. Each piece has its original hair pin attached to the paper back with a wire.

Pair of Chinese yoke back arm chairs. Late 19th century. Shanxi province. Elmwood. Dimensions: 43.5 inches height x 25.25 inches width x 22 inches depth. Seat height is 19.5 inches. Each chair has a back splat with carved figural panels. Condition: repair to break on one arm, replaced glue blocks on undersides of seats, some scuffing to one side stretcher on base.
