Description: A charming nephrite white jade bracelet was from mid-Ming period. With beautiful hairy black and gray incursions, the bracelet was preserved in very good condition. An old jade piece told it's age by itself when greasy retrospective patina was naturally reflected. Date: mid Ming dynasty(15th-16th century) Inner width: 6.2cm Outer width: 8.2cm

A Chinese bronze censer with good patina in the form of a peach with leafage, standing on three feet. The lid with a smaller peach as knob. Condition: fine, only one leave with a short crack (see photo no. 6). Dimension: c. 13.6 cm long, 11.2 cm high, 11.5 cm wide.

A natural amber pendant of a good fortune frog (toad) with the underside having a string of coins for wealth. The bottom has a hole for stringing. Size: L. 3.8cm. W. 3.3cm. Condition: No repairs.

Well potted of celadon small jarlet, decorated with two ring handles and covered overall with a pale bluish green celadon glaze. Condition is perfect. 15th-16th century Sawankhalok ware. High: 7cm and Wide: 7.3cm.

 

A good shard sample of five dynasty foliated dish, this shard is decorated with celadon glaze. this shards is very good for studying and comparison to any one who interested in studying early Chinese porcelain.

Lacquer covers the natural curves of this wood tray for use in the service of Sencha leaf Green Tea. It is 10 x 14-1/2 x 1 inches (25.5 x 37 x 2.5 cm). The bottom shows wear typical of use.
The importance of Sencha in the late Edo and Meiji periods cannot be overlooked, and has been studied in depth in the book Tea of the Sages, the Art of Sencha by Patricia Jane Graham.

A good pair of ruby red/"pigeon blood" baisse-taille enamel vases hammered and carved in low relief depicting sparrows and styalized bamboo. These items are unsigned and were made in Japan during the Meiji period (1868-1911). Condition - very good...

Qingbai ewer with stylized dragon handle; bluish white glaze stopping above the base which is concave and unglazed. Yuan Dynasty 13th-14th Centuries. Height = 10 cm, Width=12 cm. Condition : good, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restoration.

A good 19th century carved and lacquered wood Noh mask representing the character role of Ko Omote (young woman). The well oxidized wood visible on the inside of the mask exhibiting the knife strokes of the anonymous artist. Generally good condition and the lacquer strong and stable. An old soapstone seal was in very good mood of scholar taste.

Two lions were vibrantly rendered on the top of the seal as a knob.

While well maneuvered inscriptions were on four side of the stamp.

For Chinese literati, the scholar taste was most treasured, by the meaning of the inscriptions and by the craftsmanship of the carving on the inscription.The seal obtained all these characteristics.

And the tint of this stone was in great mood too...

A delicate white flower blossoms on the pink surface of this exquisite vessel by Kiyomizu Rokubei V which comes wrapped in the original stamped cloth sack and enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Taireiji Kabin.
