A set of five Edo period Shino Mukozuke cups, two with gold repairs, enclosed in an age darkened custom wood box. Pair of Chinese early Republic period baluster form porcelain vases covered overall in a flambé transmutation style glaze (referred to as "san yang kai tai") of oxblood red and green that darkens to nearly black. A rare 19th or early 20th century Malayan kris with an attractive pamir/pamor steel blade. The hilt has a (probably replacement) metal collar and a finely carved Garuda head in "kingfisher" form. The wood scabbard is decorated with engraved Straits Chinese style white metal bands depicting Buddhist emblems. There are old losses to the 'flared' top of the scabbard and the left 'ear' of the Garuda head is missing. Unusually there is no damage to the 'nose'. The old blade is in very good condition...

A Jianyang tea bowl was applied with rarely-seen white slip.
Nicknamed as "Butter Bowl" by local collecters by it's yellowish white tint, the bowl was revealed with black-tinted body clay at the bottom.
It was preserved very well when all the necessary characteristics were owned for authentication.
Not easily seen in the documentation, but some are in the Museum of Fujian Province...
