A kyusu teapot with attrative, unctuous rust-orange highlighted opaque off-white Shino glaze. Two character artist's signature incised to the pottery body within a reserve in the glaze. Good condition save a miniscule flea bite to the flaze on the tip of the spout. Pot diameter about 5 1/4 inches. Cover diameter about 3 1/2 inches. Length including handle about 7 3/4 inches. Height to cover handle about 4 inches. 20th century.

A nice famille jaune bat motive tea cup. It has a Tonzhi seal mark both on the cover and the base of the cup and is of the period.

A minor manufacturing flaw on the cover (photo 2)and five hair lines as shown in the photos 4 and 5. two with stain and the other can be seen at certain angle only. Other than that, it is in fine condition, no chip or repair.

The height of the tea cup is 9cm and the diameter is 11.2cm

Made of red pottery, covered with a white slib on which the painting was applied. Some of the pigments are still remaining. H. 34 cm. Condition: very good, no traces of repair, although repairs are very common and accepted on archaeological pieces. There is paint loss and there is soil stuck to the figure. A unique piece of zitan wood used as a sample for the scholar's woodworker. This piece is unusual as it shows a very light color of the zitan wood which is probably close to the bark area. Description: A Longquan ewer was mold in a lovely size.
Being applied with characteristic celadon glaze, the ewer was exquisitely mold in a typical shape of a handled ewer pot.
The ewer stands by a well shaped foot ring which the revealed body clay was in pale gray tint when the charming firing-red was obviously developed.
The celadon glaze is beautiful and milky condition were obvious too.
In a lovely size and great glaze condition, incursions were nevertheless happened to the spout...

This is a very finely potted Northern Song (960 A.D – 1130 A.D) dynasty qingbai or yingqing zhadou vessel with an aqua sea greenish glazed. It stands on a flat base curving towards a deep baluster or bulbous body towards an everted wide flared mouth. zhadou are commonly used as refuse vessels placed on banqueting table as receptacles for fish or meat bones. Nice pooling of sea green colour at the neck and base of the zhadou.

There is no repair or restoration, chips or glaze fritting...
