A famille rose yellow ground minyao bowl with underglaze blue Daoguang sealmark and of the period. Decorated to the exterior in vibrant enamels with four exotic blossoms, including lotus, peony, hibiscus and orchid among scrolling foliage, all on a bright lemon yellow ground. The interior left blank.

Good condition, no breaks or chips (please refer to pictures)

Size is approximately 6-1/4 cm high by 15-1/4 cm diameter

Description:

A Jizhou tea bowl was rarely found in white glaze.
Two brush maneuvered characters Yue Xuan, or Moon Chamber were in the cavetto being a fine mood.
The bottom was mold in flat base when whitish body clay was revealed with brownish burial earth.
It was really rare to find a Jizhou ware in white glaze and also with inscriptions which in nice meaning on it.

Description: A northern stoneware was intriguingly applied with russet oil-spots glaze. In a lovely size, the bowl was molded regularly in well proportion. While with a charming glaze effects on the inner and outer surface, the bowl’s foot ring was unglazed and was revealed with the meticulously applied protection coating on the body clay. Description: A beautiful Qingbai incense burner was mold in a stylized shape.
By an everted foot and with hollowed –out cloud patterns being decorated, the box was intriguingly covered by a reticulated cover.
It was obviously an porcelain copy from a metal prototype-which was commonly seen from the heritage of Tang dynasty when the Persia culture were affluent.
It was in perfect condition only with some incursions along the rims.
And the excavation earth was preserved for verif...

A Longquan water dropper was in lovely melon shape.
By cute little spout, the small ewer was mold with a handle which intended to imitate the twisted vines.
It was most likely a salvage from the sea according the immensely spread foggy incursions on the surface.
Some padding grits were left at the bottom.
Despite the natural condition, this celadon ewer was well mold in nice shape, and was easy to hold in hand for caressing and fondling...

This is a blue and white brush rest for a scholar study. The brush rest is manufactured in the likeness of blue and white wares on which Arabic and Persian inscriptions appear during the reign of emperor Cheng-Te, Ming dynasty. The painting is like a scroll work know as the “Muhammadan scrolls” with inter-twining foliage.

An Arabic inscription is found on both sides of the brush rest, in the centre of the brush rest, in a diamond shape medallion...

With charming lake-green glaze and evenly applied crackles and bubbles, the box was set with shallow dishes inside and molded decoration on cover. Large table top scholar's huanghuali chest with all it's original hardware. This is an early Ming piece as the huanghuali wood is quite thick. In later Ming pieces the wood was reduced in thickness as the huanghuali became scarcer. The hardware is typical early Ming. It is 100% original except for the inner tray that was probably added later. Size: L. 41.5cm. W. 24.6cm. H. 19.3cm. Condition: Normal ageing.
