Large oval serving bowl, measures 13" wide, 8 1/4" deep and 2 1/2" high, by the American silver company, Bailey Banks and Biddle. The firm was consolidated under this name in 1878, and this piece is from the early period of the company.

Very early hand crafted sterling silver pin signed LOS CASTILLO TAXCO MEXICO STERLING. Pin measures 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. Antonio Castillo was the head of Los Castillo and was married to the woman who would come to be known as Margot De Taxco. She often designed pieces for Los Castillo before striking out on her own.
