Small Chinese Ming Dynasty Monochrome Moulded Porcelain Dish

This small and unusual porcelain dish was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). It has a foliated rim and moulded "ribs" to its underside. It is coated in a pale glaze that has just a hint of green to it. The thickness of the glaze varies in places, at its thickest it is slightly crackled, at its thinnest it has flaked from the surface a little. Description:

A bronze Shakyamuni buddha was kept in very good condition.
Had been gilt on the surface but just faded, there are only traces left in the pleats.
It was rarely found that the under cover at the bottom was original when tickling sound was heard inside the hollow base.
It hinted that the original devotion items were still kept within after 600 years.

Date: 15th/16th century.

Measuring 7" high, and approximately 4" at the widest point of the body, this ceramic jar dates to the 17th century of the Safavid Empire, which was located in what is now Iran. The glaze is very heavy and is decorated with underglaze blue, and has areas of greenish tint, seen primarily at the shoulder and on the bottom. there are areas where brown pigments are visible in the glaze, also visible in photos. Description:

A bronze Buddha of Ming Dynasty was well preserved with fine gilding condition on the surface.
By darken sheen and with very limited abrasion on the ridges of the carvings, the Buddha was kept in a perfect condition except loss of the undercover.
Red protection slip was painted inside the hollowed inner side.

A Blanc De Chin or DeHua tripod censer was in unique purplish-red glaze.
It was very rare to find a Blanc De Chin piece in such glaze. Most of them were in pure white.
The body clay revealed at the tips of the foot and inside was in dense-feel quality which was consensus to the quality of Dehua wares.
The censer was mold in decent look and was preserved in perfect condition.
Some glazing imperfections were found at the bottom of the surface...

Description:A unique blue and white inkcake holder was in flat drum’s shape. Painted on the surface with Buddhist diagrams and floral patterns,the basin was decorated with round dots on the upper and lower rim as drum’s nails. In the center, the small circular brush-lick pool was unglazed and stained with some old ink. As to the painting, cobalt blue was concentrating within the flowing brush strokes.
