Classical chawan in the Kuro-Bizen style by the late master potter, Isezaki Mitsuru. This chawan exhibits a blackened, charcol fired exterior with ash sprinkled about the face and covering the interior floor of the bowl. the foot is exceptionally well cut and very crisp and his mark is prominently featured in the interior of the foot ring.

This chawan is in good, original condition, measures 5.25" x 3.4" and comes complete with its original signed box.
