An elegant modernist long chain necklace worked in 18K yellow gold and featuring black onyx and green nephrite jade beads. The onyx beads are carved in a melon motif, while the jade beads are left smooth. The jade has even, lightly-mottled color and good translucency. This beautiful 25" long chain has very interesting links. Every other one is textured, and the others are a double link with a bead detail. The links measure approximately 5 mm across. The chain is probably English made and is marked "18" on the clasp. It is in excellent condition and the overall weight is 31.9 grams. It is the perfect companion for any locket or fob.
