Dimensional with high edges, it measures 1 7/8" long by 1 1/4" wide and has a raw orange citrine. The pin partially obscures the signature which shows "E-------ER" and this was not an unusual occurrence during this period of hand made jewelry. A fine vintage 14K white gold bypass style diamond fashion ring, c 1940-1950. The top of each shoulder is set with three 2.4mm, round single cut diamonds that are Sl1-Sl2 in clarity and H-J in color. Centered, raised and prong set, are three modern round brilliant cut diamonds that measure 3.5mm, 3.7mm, and 3.5mm. All are the Sl clarity range and G-K in color. Wonderful Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold stick pin in the form of a flying dragon. The coiled body is covered with finely detailed scales and the wings are detailed with webbing. The dragon clasps a small prong-set single-cut diamond in its jaws. The surfaces have the soft matte bloom or “Russian finish” that was often used in the Art Nouveau period.
