A fabulous sterling bracelet with six very large carved and pierced jade stones set in bamboo form frames. Marked CHINA, NO. 23 and SILVER. Circa 1900 - 1930. With a slide clasp and a silver openwork panel at the clasp. The silver panel matches the flower and fruit pattern of the jade stones. The silver has a slightly aged finish and has a light gold wash. Bearing the signature of maestro Barrera this carefully made figural brooch depicts a richly clad person, most probably a nobleman or priest, with hands forming a very distinct gesture as if he takes part in a ritual or is performing a dance. Barrera , I suspect, worked in Mexico City, and created some impressive jewelry in the style associated with it...

This great brooch / pin / pendant has a diameter of 1 1/2". It is slightly convex. The turquoise stone is inlaid (not enamel), very nicely. The back is marked TAXCO 925 STERLING (blurry) in a circle with very blurry initials of silversmith in the middle. The eagle assay mark is number 3, very lightly stamped.

A vintage hammered sterling silver circles necklace and bangle bracelet in the style of the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis. These examples are both signed 'jb' and sterling, but it is unclear who this was and if they had any relationship to Lewis. They are even signed the same way but with jb instead of the crossed JL.

An elegant gilt sterling silver oval brooch by Kirk in the "Repousse" pattern. Kirk made a range of jewelry in this pattern but only a few were then gilt. With the addition of a bail to the back, this pin would make a very striking vertical pendant. The back is stamped with Kirk's hallmark from the 1932-61 period.

Carved Shell Cameo set in a silver frame with a gold colored rope twist accent. The frame is marked only 800 in an oval and is most likely Italian. The carving is excellent, with highlights of different colors left in the hair. The frame has a pin closure and a moveable bail so it can be worn as a pin or a pendant. The profile of the woman and mark on the frame suggests Victorian era of 1875 - 1880's. Condition is excellent.

This pretty and detailed pin might depict St. Catherine (patroness of young maidens and female scholars – we like her!). There is a wheel in the background (possibly a “Catherine Wheel,” but it could also just be a ship's wheel or a spinning wheel), and a flower in the foreground. Her clothing looks very Renaissance-era to us. Marked “SILVER” on the C-clasp, with an illegible maker’s mark, the metal tests as sterling, and she’s a dainty 7/8” in diameter. 2.5g. A vintage three dimensional pendant in sterling silver designed by Jose Luis Flores of Taxco, Mexico depicting a stylized figure kissing a nude breast. Flores also worked with Hector Aguilar, Miguel Garcia Martinez and Emma.

These cuff links measure 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/8". They are sterling silver with a geo wooden inlay. One of the cuff links is marked BETO 925 and TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO. They have a good heft and are in excellent condition (better than photos).

This set consists of a spectacular, large bracelet with matching earrings. Each onyx stone is bezel set. The bracelet measures 6 3/4" x 1" x 3/8" and has a V-spring and Box Clasp. The earrings are screwbacks and measure 1" x 3/4" x 3/8". The back of the bracelet is marked DEL RIO 0.925 HECHO EN MEXICO STERLING. The bracelet has good heft, weighing just about over 85 grams (3 ounces). The set has a beautiful design and is in excellent condition.

One rarely sees work produced by La Joya. La Joya designs are unique and original, the craftsmanship superb. This necklace dates to pre-1948. It's a definite statement piece, adorned with 7 amethyst cabochons. The largest of them measures 7/8" x 7/16", and sits on the center "ribbon". Centerpiece measures just under 5 1/2" across. The amethysts are beautiful stones, well matched in color, with natural inclusions. Necklace measures a closed, wearable length of 18". Weight is 78 grams....

Very rare and stunning vintage Georg Jensen Denmark sterling bracelet no. 181 designed by Ibe Dahlquist in the 60’s. The interlocking links are very sculptural and the clasp is invisible and ingenious. Measuring 7 1/2” end to end, it is 1” wide and weighs 58 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. This bracelet and its matching necklace are pictured on page 177 of Janet Drucker’s book GEORG JENSEN A TRADITION OF SPLENDID SILVER. Set with four pieces of green art glass to resemble jade, alternating with Egyptian motifs. The central oval piece is flanked by applied openwork lotus blossoms; the sides exhibit applied elongated elements, possibly symbolizing the eye of Ra. Based on an original, almost impossible to find Margot de Taxco design, the repousse "swans-in-a-row" bracelet I am presenting here is wrought in fine, .980 silver and is a little masterpiece. I think suggesting that "A.E.M", whose initials can be found on it, was a maestro who worked for the Los Castillo and/or Margot de Taxco is not a far-fetched hypothesis. Not only is this piece very close to Margot's creation, it is also extremely well made, very sculptural and has crisp, rich detail to it....

A modernist sterling silver heavy link bracelet signed Gra Wun for the Scottsdale Arizona jeweler Ray Graves. The links slope towards one direction for a three dimensional effect. Measures 8" long and 1/2" across. Has a hook closure which holds securely. Marked Gra Wun and Sterling on the back. His sterling jewelry is hard to find. Well made and fine condition.

This beautiful pendant has a cool design. It features a bezel-set Eilat gemstone. The top disk has a diameter of 1 1/8". The colorful stone has a diameter of 3/4". Next, there dangles 3 convex disks suspending (left to right) 2 1/2", 3", 2 1/2". This piece is in excellent condition.
