This Margot de Taxco pin is a rarely seen design, with open-back repoussé and tiny silver beading which graduates in size. This double facing swan design is Margot's # 5291, and is collector quality. Measures 2 5/8" wide, 1 15/16" tall. Weight is 41.2 grams. Signed and hallmarked "Margot de Taxco Sterling Made in Mexico", with the eagle assay 16 and design # 5291. In excellent vintage condition. Pin closes with a roller.

Here is a beautiful early pin by Danecraft. It has a diameter of 1 1/2". It has an open circle, decorative border, surmounted by a lovely, single flower with repousse leaves and petals. The back is marked DANECRAFT REG. U.S. PAT. OFF STERLING. Unlike later pieces, this very well crafted older piece has decent weight to it. It's in excellent condition.

Circa 1950's, this bold, edgy cuff from Bernice Goodspeed is a book-piece design shown on p. 132 of the Morrill/Berk book "Mexican Silver".

It's a hand-wrought piece with an intricate deeply carved design and an oxidized background. This is a fabulous bracelet, and one which is rarely seen.

We have an Antonio Pineda high sheen obsidian bracelet today with a wearable of 7 inches and a height of 1.25 in. tall. This elegant squash blossom is made of lovely natural red coral and sterling silver. It is most likely Navajo made circa 1960. It measures 23" in length. The blossoms measure approximately 1.5" long. The pendant portion measures 2.5" long and 3" wide. It is in impeccable condition.

A vintage hand wrought sterling silver necklace with an Arts and Crafts feel by the well known Boston silversmith, Ella Cone, comprised of linked leaves and scrolls.

Measures 15 1/4" long, could be lengthened with an extender. Spring clasp holds securely. Marked Sterling, XTO, and Ella L. Cone on each leaf. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

This maker is unknown, but produced an impressive series of calla lily jewelry with hand-applied decoration. A folded end panel forms a very secure hook clasp. The bracelet has two safety chains. Timeless and elegant this early Vintage Antonio Pineda Necklace features deep purple Amethyst Cabochon stones set to "float" above silver discs. The necklace measures 14 1/2" long by 5/8" wide and weighs a substantial 159 grams. Good vintage condition with light signs of age related wear and tarnish. Hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco Crown, Sterling, Mexico, Silver, 970 with the design number YY 564 and the eagle stamp 17. A stunning necklace that will never go out of style.

A beautifully made Shiebler silver medallion of the type known as the Etruscan or Homeric series. The medallion features a bust length rendering of a soldier wearing a crested helmet displaying a dog or wolf. The reverse of the piece is fully marked "W84/Shiebler/(wings mark)/Sterling/720". Shiebler and his company, in addition to their very fine general reputation, were especially noted for their medallion work inspired by the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum.

An intricate pair of sterling silver pierced earrings with four tightly wound coils by Helge Narsakka, Helsinki, Finland. He was active from 1957-1961.

Signed HN for the designer, National Mark, 925H for the silver purity, Town Mark, and Q7 for 1969. The marks are cleverly hidden in the coils and are hard to find.

An ornate piece of cast work featuring flowers, scrolls, garlands and scallop shells. The pin is set with a central faceted rectangular citrine, tiny pieces of orange glass and seed pearls. The C-clasp is secure; the pin stem is struck with a special Hungarian mark used from 1937-1999 indicating a piece that may have left the country temporarily, as for an exhibition. The brooch measures 1 ½ inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide.

Formed as square panels with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation. The design is called "Pine Needle." The earrings have the original screw backs, which are in good working order. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. Each earring measures 3/4 inch square. Weight: 6.6 grams
