Gautier (LUCIEN GAUTIER, 1850-1925) at lower left margin. The print measures 9 3/4" by 14 3/4" (13" by 18" in silvery metal framing). There are some fox marks in the field and typical browning/light soiling seen on an antique print; also a slight bit of raising of the paper surface at extreme right corner...

This image is hand signed in pencil and numbered 29/100. The image measures 17 1/4X10 5/8 inches. This etching is nicely framed with the early label from J. Assenheim in New York.
Etching on paper laid on card, the subject a marketplace in the Jewish Quarter of Amsterdam, signed with "ML" initials and "927" as if a date (not the typical signature of the artist, apparently added later either by him or some other party).
