**ONE OF TWO OF THIS PRINT IN MY SHOP (this one in better condition). **Etching of Victorian children playing in an interior, 10 1/2" by 8 1/4" inside the mat, 16" by 13" framed, pencil signed "R. Ernst" at lower right. This is an unusual medium for the artist, best known for his highly finished and detailed oil paintings of Orientalist subjects of North Africa and the Middle East. These oils regularly bring hundreds of thousands of dollars at auction...

This is an original etching, 11" by 16 1/2" (17" by 21" as framed), by American artist Kerr Eby (1889-1946). The title of the work is "Cattle Ford", and it was executed in 1945, in an edition of 100 apparently. Eby was born in Tokyo to Canadian missionaries but was in the United States by age 3. At 18 he went to New York City for art education, working for a lithographic firm to enhance his financial situation, gaining valuable experience that served him well later in life...

Classic mid 19th century print of a large bird perched on a branch, 20 5/8" by 14 7/8" inside a hand drawn ornate mat, 27" by 20 3/4" framed, with hand coloring of the subject. This is a work by highly regarded American artist THOMAS WILLOUGHBY NASON (1889-1971). Nason was a Boston-born artist who by the late 1920's had taught himself the fine art of creating prints in the wood engraving process. This is a fine print on a puckery, soft, Japan-like very delicate paper, the image featuring an obviously Orientalist figure and a greyhound-like dog. Original etching LA REVUE (The Review) by Jacques Callot printed in 1627, second state of two, Lieure catalog number 592. The print was done just before Callot started working on a huge print “Le Siege de Breda” and must have been done for better understanding of military formations. A late 19th century etching of a young woman, measuring 5 3/4" by 4" inside the mat, the laid paper sheet 10" by 7 1/4", and 19 1/4" by 15 1/2" nicely framed, with a monogram in the plate at right center and an illegible pencil signature at lower right that appears to begin with "J".
