This is a landscape work by highly regarded American artist THOMAS WILLOUGHBY NASON (1889-1971). The print is signed in pencil at lower right and dated there 1937, when the artist was 48 years old, at mid-career. Nason was a Boston-born artist who by the late 1920's had taught himself the fine art of creating prints in the wood engraving process. Late in life, circa 1999, Japanese master print maker, Haku Maki, did this shikishiban print. It is called Z1-12 (WAZA); 7.25'' x 8.25''; Shikishiban is a nearly square format. Shikishiban are often mounted on a thick, light cardboard. Japanese people like to give them as presents. The print is in the US and will be shipped from there.

Two fine engravings of Mount Vernon, and the White House, each framed and measuring 6 3/4" by 8 3/4". These appear to be the same images that have appeared on US currency in the past, and the very high quality type of printing (intaglio?) is the same process.
