Japanese Yunomi pair of beakers, one a little smaller than the other, husband and wife cups. Decoration of enameled / iroe carnation flowers in Kakiemon style and colours on a matted ground. Arita Nabeshima, Tsuji production signed Mayama Akira. Between the leaves to the left of each beaker there is further writing in Japanese. Height "3 ¼ / 8 and "3 ½ / 8.5 cm respectively. Condition: fine.

Marked with a seal to the base "Kutani" amidst scrolling clouds, it dates late 20th C, circa 1980, and is in excellent condition...

A finely carved and moulded Zisha clay stoneware teapot with a Tang dynasty style marbed band and with applied leaf and Prunus blossom decoration. This item was made in the vicinity of the city of Yixing, Jiangsu province, in the Yangze River Delta region of eastern China.
The base carries the impressed sealmark of its maker Kuai Xin Long born 25th May 1964.
Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration.
