The piece measures 13" by 10", and 18 1/2" by 14 1/2" in modern black wood framing (which exhibits two scraped areas as illustrated). Bull was a prominent portrait and still photographer with the Hollywood studios, head of MGM's stills department for 40 years...

Measuring 8 3/4 inches long x 6 ½ inches wide, this very charming, circa 1920-1930’s key or pot holder hanger is entirely hand-made- and is a fabulous example of early American Folk Art!

Constructed of hand-cut, ¼ inch wide, black painted wood, this darling little black girl has hand-painted eyes and smiling lips, and is dressed in a hand and machine stitched, cloth-stuffed, one piece, black, tan and green dress! She has a hole in each ear, a metal hanging loop atop her head and one metal...

Measuring 26.5" long x 13.75" wide, this fabulous, one-of-a-kind segregation sign is felt to be circa 1930s.

The sign with its flat black background, features a decorative free-hand, skill-fully executed, corner-looped edge design in old white paint advertising: SLEEPING ROOM FOR RENT.

Beneath the words 'FOR RENT', the words "WHITE ONLY" have been covered over with a layer of similar-colored background paint...

Super vintage celluloid and chenille Easter rabbit decoration. This bunny is very colorful in his spiffy suit and his silver pipe. He is attached to his original chenille stick and makes a nice Easter decoration. Circa 1930. Size: rabbit only, 2-3/4" tall. Excellent condition; the tip of one foot has a small hole that appears to be a manufacturing flaw.

Measuring 6.5 inches long and approximately 4 inches in both width and depth, this wonderfully RARE, Black Americana, Red Cap, Railroad Porter, pottery string holder is in very fine condition with just a sprinkling of white speckling where the black cold paint has worn away.

Platt and Munk Publishers, like McLoughlin Publishers, were widely known to employ the most talented illustrators of the time period. Platt and Munk books are highly sought after for this reason...
