Very nice vintage tin child’s sand pail decorated with a patriotic lithograph of an American eagle in red, white and blue. The patriotic theme is unusual. The pail is marked by Ohio Art. Circa 1940s. Wear and rusting from normal use, but no big dings and cracks. The graphics are nice and bright. 6-1/8” high to top rim; 6-1/4” top diameter.

Wonderful vintage 1940s hand-made sewing needle case of a little black girl with yellow bows in her braided hair and a pumpkin colored dress. Front of dress lifts up and there are two flaps for storing sewing needles. Very nicely made with fine detailing to face and hair construction--her little curls are tiny French knots. Excellent condition. Measures 6" long by 3" at the widest.

A scarce 4-1/4" vintage late 1930s-mid 1940s Mary Grayo stoppered glass fur perfume bottle with the original label. This company was in business in Monte Carlo for a very short time, from the late 1930s to the mid-1940s. The label has losses but the Mary Grayo name is mostly quite legible; the bottle is molded with a 45 on the bottom. It has remnants of the original perfume, which must have smelled wonderful in its day...

"Brother, can you spare a dime?" This fun vintage large cast iron Fedora hat-form paperweight is straight out of the 30's, comprised of gold painted nicely detailed banded hat with a worn look, circa 1940, probably American made. Measurements: 4 1/2" long x 3 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" high. Great condition having a few bumps and bruises made to look authentic. Slight wear to the finish adds to the overall look of the hat.

This colorful vintage ceramic cocker spaniel will keep the libations flowing as a dog head-form cover of a combination bottle pourer and stopper. The head is hand painted sienna brown outlined with black markings, porcelain pourer, cork is near perfect, circa 1940. Measurements- 4 1/8" high. Very good condition with minor flaking on one ear.

An unusual grouping of eight vintage 1940s moulded and hand painted hard rubber character figures. We haven't been able to identify the series or origin of this set (can you help?), and the largest, Dumbo, measures 2-1/4 x 2-1/2". Each has handpainted highlights in red and yellow and four have black painted shoes. This set includes the Mad Hatter, the Rabbit, Gepetto, Donald Duck, Dumbo, rabbit with heart, Red Queen, and Alice...

This Gorham sterling yo-yo is 2 1/4" in diameter by 1 3/8". . It is hallmarked Gorham sterling cover 30 steel body. Circa 1930s. There are a few dings in the sterling. Definitely for the person who has everything. There are the letters the letters "R" and "G ?" on the top. It's so faint you can hardly read it.

Really nice vintage Chein tin spinning top toy colorfully lithographed with circus scenes showing clowns, elephants, ducks and dogs. The wooden handle is push down to engage the spinning mechanism. The top is marked with Chein's logo.

This is a really great ebony black Rocking Elephant Ink Blotter made by Houze Glass. This blotter has the two original clips with the original blotter pad attached. It measures 3 1/2 inches long X 2 1/4 inches high and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The original clips and blotter pad is all very good. We guarantee items to be as described. The tin is lithographed with a delightful scene of school children standing at the front of the class during a spelling bee with the teacher seen in the lower left corner holding a spelling book! Just adorable! On the back of the toy, a lone boy is seen drawing pictures and practicing spelling at a portable chalk board...

Offered is this wonderful, early 1940s, LITTLE BLACK SAMBO Book with beautiful illustrations by Phyllis Robinson, a M.A. Donohue Company, Chicago, book publication. Hardcover, 18 unnumbered pages. Curiously, the M.A. Donohue Company, did not always date their publications as is the case here. They, additionally, were not prolific publishers of the Little Black Sambo story book, and this edition was used over a period of ten years, with changes made only to the cover...
