An authentic vintage 1970s autographed magazine article by Joan Sutherland (1926-2010). This dedicated signature is signed over the article and photograph "To Joan Best Wishes Joan Sutherland" in marker, and it comes with a plexiglass standup frame. Original movie poster, 1963, for the film "The Stripper", starring then-young Joanne Woodward, and Robert Webber, Louis Nye, and Gypsy Rose Lee. The poster measures 39 1/2" by 26" (45" by 32" framed, behind easy-ship Plexi). There is hand-numbering at bottom right, "63/123", and I do not know what to make of that since this would been unlikely to have been printed in such a low edition...

Circa early to mid 1960's image of actress Joanne Woodward (1930-), hand signed and inscribed "To Tom Best Wishes Joanne Woodward" in blue marker. The photo (7 1/2" by 9 1/2", 10 1/2" by 12" in simulated wood frame) is I believe a reprint of a sixties image of the actress in her prime, and signed at a later date. Woodward of course was married for fifty years to actor Paul Newman, with whom she appeared in ten films, and with whom she collaborated on many others...

A circa early 1960's black and white photo of famous actress Leslie Caron (1931-), the actress appearing very young, with her famous sassy short haircut, inscribed at lower right in somewhat faded ink "Pour George Ghira/Souvenir de/Leslie Caron". The name of the recipient might be "Ghica", or even another variant---difficult to decipher. Caron of course is the actress known for "Gigi", "An American in Paris", and so forth...

An original Mexican movie poster, for a movie released in 1952, "Mujer de Medianoche", starring Gloria Marin and Victor Junco, directed by Victor Urruchua, the artwork dated 1950 by Carlos Vega. Apparently there was some delay in releasing the film. This example retains the electric blue and yellow color, but the very fragile, acidic, thin paper on which this was printed has deteriorated seriously with time and careless handling...

This is a black and white photo, 7 1/2" by 7", (10 1/4" by 9 1/4" as simply framed), signed by hand, in ink, at lower right "Nelson Eddy". I'm offering it simply as Hollywood or Nelson Eddy memorabilia, as after comparing the signature with others viewable on line, I feel it possible that this was not actually signed by him. The signature and inscription are bold and nicely placed at right center. Nelson officially changed his name to "Rick" in 1961, so this might have been signed after that. A vintage lobby card for the film "Julia Misbehaves", 1948, starring Greer Carson, Walter Pidgeon, Peter Lawford, a young Elizabeth Taylor, and Cesar Romero. The print measures 11" by 14" in its present black metal frame. It shows its age with small holes in upper margin from old nails, small margin tear, and some paper loss in center showing as white areas in photo. Mat this and put in a proper frame for optimal display. Allow for a few reflections in the images, and some dirt on the inside...
