Super chic and wearable vintage genuine lizard long clutch in cognac with dark brass hardware. Circa 1960, marked LESCO with a horse head logo. Lined in pale beige leather. Big statement making fabulous vintage 1940s round box bag beaded in brilliant glittering iridescent peacock blue vitrail glass micro beads, with a soft flexible beaded strap. This bag looks like it's made of bakelite, but it doesn't test as such. I went and learned a lot about early plastics from Andrea DeNoto's book, " Art Plastic," and the best I can come up with is Thermoset Phenolic Resin.
