The cat is vividly hand-painted in a unique style on rice paper. It shows the artist's highly developed skills in black-white ink painting as well as his exceptional imagination. According to the inscription, the clever cat is painted after a real one of a neighboring household in early summer of 1954...
Length approximately 16 cm (tipspout to handle). Height approximately 9 cm. A chip at the cover. A chip at the spout. In good condition.
This hat was brought back by a nurse who was in Tibet as part of a medical relief team sometime in the 80's. Hat appears to have not been worn and is in excellant condition.

A Chinese Yixing Teapot, Qing Dynasty. Length approximately 19.4 cm (the tipspout to the handle) and height 15 cm. Few tiny chips at the rim of the teapot and oval-shaped grip on the cover is glued. Good condition.
Japanese baby's first formal kimono (miyagi), hawk on a pine tree hand painted in sumi-e (black ink) on silk, 32 1/2" W x 41" L.
This type of kimono is used during a newborn's first visit to the shrine.
The ritual takes place about one month after his birth. Traditionally,
the kimono was sent by the mother's side of the family to their daughter's
new family, bearing the family crest of the husband's side...

The shaker is 11.5 inches (29.2 cm) tall by 9 inches (23 cm) wide. The cup is 4.2 inches (10.8 cm) tall by 2.6 inches (6.6 cm) wide. They are 2414.9 gram.
They are tarnished and have surface wears and scratches, a dent at the cover, and minor bent at the cups (as seen in the photos).

Elegant Japanese Cotton Jacket with sashiko hand stitches, slits on the sides, new condition. The small stitches go through from the front to back or back to front. The stitches on the front were sewn right along the stripes that they do not show up much but it gave a nice, gentle texture to the front. Dimensions: 37" wide x 39" long
