OLD 1890’s Venetian SALVIATI SEA HORSE Art Glass Compote Base!!! The piece is the bottom half of a compote, but its extremely rare to find one anywhere! The last one I saw sold for over $5,000!!! Even though the piece I have is the bottom part, I think it is an amazing example to have for any collector. The Seahorse has GOLD FLECKS throughout, with an applied harness with little pink dots. The Fins and tail are without damage...
A bowl or ashtray in black, still transparent glass. No marks, but Italian (Murano) and probably by Alfredo Barbini, 1950's. The interior iridescent in "oily" rainbow or mother-of-pearl shades so that, in combination with the lobed design, a sea-shell effect is created. The exterior also iridescent, in a metal-like shade. Width: 3 ¾"/10 cm, height: 2"/5 cm. Condition: small nick to bottom at 3 o'clock as shown in the photo, otherwise fine.
This beautiful red / white Murano bowl with inward folded sides has spiral threading and a polished pontil. Possibly Veneni Zanfrico or Barbini. This bowl is 10" 9" x 2 7/8".
There are no cracks, no chips, no hairlines, and no repairs to this item. If you hold the bowl in the right light you can see 4 bubbles and a ring.
This extremely unusual sculptural item is made of solid, clear glass with internal red and green inclusions. It is unsigned, but possibly by Fulvio Bianconi for Cenedese, circa 1950s. In the 1950s, Bianconi, who is best known for his creations for Venini, designed a series of objects for Cenedese in which he "drew" with multicolored glass threads in colorless glass. The distinctive color scheme and bold experimentation of this non-functional item makes Bianconi a likely designer...
An unusual late 19th or early 20th Century Italian vase in clear glass with a light dusting of internal gold aventurine, brown inclusions and applied yellow "drapery." Unsigned. Fine quality carafe with matching glass or tumbler which fits over top of carafe, both in blue and white swirled designs on clear glass, polished lip and bases, signature, mid century era. The blue is cobalt, it appears to have a turquoise hue in some of the photos.
Measures 7 1/2" high with glass on top, carafe alone is 6 1/2" high and roughly 4 1/2" wide, the glass is 3 7/8" high and 2 3/4" wide.
The swirl design is very precise, the sign of fine quality glass, and it is heavy as well...
In the mid-1930s, Venini engaged Carlo Scarpa to design innovative glass surface textures and this historical gem, "A BOLLICINE", survives in excellent condition! The base is polished and has 2 acid stamps: "venini murano" and "MADE IN ITALY", measuring 2" H, 3 3/4" W, 3 3/4"D.

Rare hand blown Bohemian style Murano Glass cobalt blue tea set with applied white enameled flowers in high relief, monogrammed saucers and footed cups. Custom made and purchased on Murano Island, Venice, Italy in the 1900's. Total of 22 pieces, 2 of which are lids, the set offers teapot with lid (8.25" high), sugar with lid (4.5" high), creamer (5.25" high), 5 large footed cups (3.75" high), 6 small footed cups (3" high), 6 saucers (5.5" diameter).
This elegant and amazing sculptural bowl form, attr Fratelli Toso in the 1970s, has a strong presence to accent its environment. Done in the Sommerso technique, with clear, pale blue and red, the free-form flow reminds the viewer that glass is a liquid. Tip to tip is 12", height 6", width 5". Bottom is polished. It is in excellent condition.
This Fazzoletto bowl utilizes the filigrana a retortoli technique, used in Murano since the 16th century; jade green and lattimo "netted" vertical canes produce this elegant coloring. Venini's fazzoletto design is documented in numerous books, most recently in "Paulo Venini and His Furnace" by Marino Barovier and Carla Sunego, P.131. Green and yellow bearded dog figural decanter, hollow with hole for cork. Seguso made these decanters for Luxardo in the 1960's. Length/height of the decanter is 12 inches (30cm). Condition is very good with no chips, cracks or repairs. Unsigned, but with Luxardo liqueur labels, import labels. Please note: there is some "debris" inside the bottle as I did not wash it out for fear of destroying the labels.

Fratelli Toso Rose Bowl constructed of Cattedrale (or Tiffany Window) murrines in reds, greens, yellows and blue. The murrines feature clear "windows" of glass.Some have "bullseye" configurations in the clear window and black (nerox) glass frames. This is a delightful 4 inch (10.2 cm) diameter bowl with a height of 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) due to the polished top. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1955.
Modern design vase with incisio carved surface ia a sommerso blend that transitions from cool green to a warm golden wheat color at the base. This is the first incisio I have seen in this shape; I suspect there are not many. This vessel displays nicely with the incisio candle holders item #086.
