A BRONZE VIRABHADRA PLAQUE WESTERN DECCAN INDIA CIRCA probably 19th c CENTURY of rectangular form depicting the four-armed deity in relief standing within a lobed arch under a cobra flanked by diminutive figures of Daksha and Sati and a hanging loop on the back. Size H 7" w almost 4.25"

Width approximately 19.8 cm (the tipspout to the handle). There are some very soft chips inside the cover. The dragon head on the cover can go in and out. In good condition.

Chinese blanc de chine porcelain figure of the bodhisattva of compassion Quan Yin. She is sculpted lounging against an armrest with a lion's face. One of her delicate hands is emerged out from her robes, clutching a sutra scroll. The bodhisattva is easily identified by her large ear lobes and protruding third eye, attributes of an immortal being. Her backside is signed with a chop and a gourd shaped signature.
