Chinese famille rose plate with a central figure of a rooster with other roosters among lotus blooms and other foliage. The underside of this plate has been covered in pewter, leaving the base exposed that shows a six character iron red Guangxu mark. With the addition of pewter, this dish is quite heavy.

Nice collection of 6 vintage Seminole dolls, all early to mid 20th century, most with patchwork clothing, beads, and bright colors, all with classic hair styles. Two are earlier, made without any rickrack and are done with old calico fabric.
The largest is 12 1/2", others measuring 10", 9 1/2", 9", 7 1/2", and the smallest at 4 1/4".
Bodies made of palm material and are handsewn, the clothing is mostly machine stitched, some dolls have rickrack decoration. Sold as a collection only.
This is an exquisite haori. Jackets of this quality, condition, and subject matter are getting increasingly hard to find. Made habutae silk a with brocaded or woven lining, it can be worn or displayed with either side facing outward. The outside is solid black with 5 mons (family crests) and includes the artist signature which appears on the front lower right panel. The inside back panel’s weaving includes the use of gold, silver, and copper-gold metallic lacquered threads...
DESCRIPTION: An antique hand-painted ceremonial drum with vivid motifs of large flowers with curling green tendrils against a red ground. Both ends of the drum are covered in animal hide and secured with round-headed metal studs. This highly decorative drum makes a perfect little end table, or adds a touch of exotic to any décor.
