Pair of Chinese cloisonne vases with intricate designs and fine workmanship. The gold gilt vases are mirror image and each is decorated with a panel featuring a bird on a flowering branch; the opposing side having a panel with a butterfly hovering over flowers. The ornate brown background with gold wires features a floral pattern to include large chrysanthemums. In excellent condition they measure 7.5" high x 4" diameter.

This is a charming baby carrier from Guang Xi which is similiar in shape to those carriers from Rao Jia region. It is made of hand-loomed cotton fabric which is hand stitched and hand embroidered with butterflies and flowers using both cotton and silk thread. The sculptural shape makes a very pleasing wall hanging. The condition of this carrier is very good.

Antique Chinese apothecary chest. Upper portion has an open display shelf with pierced carved dragons on the sides and a medallion on the back depicting a bird on a blossoming tree branch. The middle portion has 19 drawers, all the same size with the exception of one wider drawer toward the bottom. Each drawer is divided into three sections for storage of medicines and herbs. The very well carved young beauty is a 1930’s product. She holds a fan in one hand and a small musical instrument in the other. It is 8 ¾” high (with base is 10 ½” high) 2 ½” wide and 2” thick. There is an old repair on her left hand. Aside from that, it is in great condition.

Incredible precision is the hallmark of this hand embroidered baby carrier from Ge Jia. The piece is bordered with batik and hand stitch detail which is so fine and precise that it looks like it was done on a machine but it was definately done by hand.
