Chinese Wood small square table with one(1) drawer has embossed floral design brass handle, 14 3/4" high, 12 1/4" square top, mid 1900's, with honey color brown finish. There are some separation in wood between dovetail joint, top has opening gap between molding and top surface area.

Lovely cream and orange colored toggle carving with an interesting triangular shape of a pair of monkeys clinging to peaches attached by a branch and leaves with hole for a toggle string. Size: 1.5" Long x 1.25" High

DESCRIPTION: A Chinese scholar's wrist rest crafted from reddish-brown bamboo, the surface covered with fifteen lines of finely carved, raised calligraphy citing a 1962 poem by Mao Zedong. Excellent condition. DIMENSIONS: 11" long (28 cm) x 3" wide (7.6 cm).

A four character calligraphy piece attributed to Liu Bingsen (1937-2005). Liu Bingsen was noted for his contemporary interpretations and styles in Chinese calligraphy. A simple line drawing of the portrait of the founder of the Chinese communist party, Mao Zedong. The work is attributed to an artist named Li Qi (1928-2009). Li Qi is known for composing portraits of important political figures in China and developing his distinct style within Modern Chinese art. Age: 1960-1970. Size: Height 25.5" Width 19.5"

A large Chinese porcelain communist badge depicting Mao Zhedong, the father of Chinese communism. The back of the badge has a date of 1968, the years when China was going through social policy changes. The photo is showing Mao during his campaigns in the Shangxi region. This Chinese hair comb was hand carved from a beautifully "grained" translucent animal horn. Obtained from an ethnic minority person, the pair of ducks carved into the handle were commonly used by mainstream Han Chinese as a symbol of a long and happy marriage. Items with this symbol would often be gifted for an anniversary.
