This large carved ivory beauty is a 1950’s product. It depicts a young lady (quite possibly an image of a fairy) holding a flower basket in one hand and a branch of peony blossoms in the other. There is a phoenix leaning on her left side. She is almost 14 ¾” high, 3 ¼” wide and 2 ¾” thick. It is in excellent condition.

This elderly man with a smiling face is 8” high (with the hard wood base, it is 9” high), 1 ¾” wide and 1” thick. It is a mid-20th century product. The bearded man wears an old style short robe and pants. His right hand is holding a straw bag and a wooden tobacco pipe; his left hand is holding a long bamboo staff. It is in great condition.

Chinese baluster vases in famille rose with nine peaches among flowers and vines with bats on a white ground. The symbols of peaches and bats together mean long life and happiness. The inside of each is glazed white, as well as the base. On each base is an overglazed stamped blue six character Qianlong mark.

This very well carved fisherman is 10” high (11 ¼” high with base), 2 1/2” wide and 1 3/4” in depth. It is a middle 20th century product. The long bearded, smiling fisherman wears an old style top and pants. His right hand is holding a long bamboo fishing pole; his left hand is holding two fish on a string. The carved wood base is a replacement. It is in excellent condition.

Vintage Chinese wooden stand of square shape, its sides with openwork carving. Beautiful dark dense rosewood with wonderful patina, in excellent condition. Very good for display of scholar’s objects. 4 13/16 inches square, height 15/16 inches.

This Chinese ivory carving of a mountain scene is a mid 20th century product. It is 5 1/8” high (with carved wood base is 6 ¼” high), 2” wide and 1 ½” thick. It depicts a village scene on a mountain. It starts from a boat in a river. Going up the trail, people are riding a buffalo or horse, sitting in a sedan chair or just walking. There are houses, booths, a pagoda and pine trees along the trail. It is in very good condition.

Chinese hardwood Abacus, natural finish color, 1 1/4" high, 11 1/2" x 4 1/4" wide, numbers in Chinese Character in red in front and very large sign of the some Liquor store name in the back, the dovetail or butterfly joint work between back and the side frame, it is in good condition, no damage.

The outside is decorated with beautiful, intricate scenery depicting an oceanside temple amidst large rock formations and trees, while tiny sail boats and birds float off in the distance. The inside of the bowl has a similar depiction of a small house by the ocean. Signed and stamped on its side, and marked on the bottom.

This ShouXin is 5 ½” high, 1 ½” wide and 1 ¼” thick; the young girl is 3” high, 1 ½” wide and 1” thick. The carved wood base with a pine tree design is 1” high, 4 ¼” wide and 2” thick. The carving depicts ShouXin carrying a long carved staff in his left hand; the other hand is holding a RuYi scepter...

This very well carved lapis lazuli water bowl is 2 ¾” high, 6” long and 3 ½” wide. It depicts a young boy and a small dragon tortoise riding on the back of a large dragon tortoise. A tiny tortoise sits inside the water bowl which is formed from the back of the large dragon tortoise. The piece is accompanied by a black silk brocade box. This is a 1950’s~1960’s product and is in excellent condition. According to Chinese legend, this tortoise is the oldest of nine dragon children...
