1930's Chinese Amber Carved Seed Pearl Pendant with Peach

The overall length is 3.55 inches (9 cm). The pendant is 1.7 inches (4.5 cm) long by 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide. The jade bead is 7.6 mm. The total weight is 6.6 gram.

Antique Chinese porcelain waterpot handpainted in famille rose enamels on a white ground with peonies and prunus flowers with butterflies flying above. Glazed in white on the inside as well as the base. On the base is a four character Qianlong mark in overglaze blue surrounded by double borders.

Condition: Very good condition, no breaks or cracks

Charming gilt bronze figure of ball player displayed on a wooden pedestal. Figure is balancing ball on one foot with arms by sides. Ball player is wearing traditional cloth garb for game playing, with a unique tattooing on upper legs. Early 20th century. Dimensions: 7.75" Tall, 3.5" Wide at Base

Set of three Chinese Qingbai celadon glaze bowls with incised design on the inside. The outside glazed the same, but left blank. The foot rims and bases as well as the top rims left unglazed.

Size: All bowls are approximately 6" diameter by 2-3/8" high

Condition: Two of the bowls are in good condition with the exception of some minor kiln imperfections due to firing. The third bowl has a rim crack and also a chip. Refer to pictures.

A small yet lively Chinese jade carving of a mythical beast known as pixiu, a mythical beast that is similar to a winged lion. The pixiu is an important creature that attracts zaiqi or the energy of wealth and retains it while keeping evil spirits at bay, according to traditional fengshui. Age: 19th century. An antique Chinese seal chop of soapstone with an image of Hotei. Chinese seals are used with red ink or cinnabar paste (zhusha). A seal in an East is a general name for printing stamps and impressions which are used in lieu of signatures in personal documents, office paperwork, contracts, art, or any item requiring acknowledgement or authorship. The process started in China and soon spread across East Asia.

This piece is carved in deep relief with a classical scene depicting a princess dancing before the peasants , an oldman and a child as well as a buffulo in the countryside welcoming her presence. Should be of 20th century made, vintage piece, not antique. It has some worm holes and small cracked.

Chinese enameled porcelain bowl, exterior is decorated in the mille fleur pattern on a gilt ground with three cartouche exhibiting dragons, from Republic Period, bears Chinese seal mark to the base. Lovely antique silk Chinese panel embroidered with metallic wires framing flowers and butterflies in jewel tones of purple, blue, raspberry, and gold, natural linen backing, black silk border, easily opens to make a pillow if desired. Size: 12 1/4" x 8 1/4". Condition is good overall. Loose metallic wires, border seams need re-stitching, some loose embroidery threads.

Chinese huang huali box from the mid 20th century. The box is beautifully decorated with dragons on the front doors and the top. The top of the box and doors open to reveal an open compartment and four drawers. The box has handles on either side. The piece is fitted with bronze metal hardware. It measures 14" wide 9.5" deep 13.5" tall.

A four character calligraphy piece attributed to Liu Bingsen (1937-2005). Liu Bingsen was noted for his contemporary interpretations and styles in Chinese calligraphy. Though the subject is fitting for a literati scholar, the work appeared to be used for a communist party publication. Age: Late 20th century Size: Width 25.5" height 19.5"
