An impressive vintage circa 1960's or 1970's tempera on canvas painting, 32" by 61" in its bamboo style framing, unsigned, the subject an inclusive blend of typical village sights of Southeast Asia, people going about their business and socialization in the tropical landscape. Could be either Thai or Indonesian, possibly Bali; hard to say. Condition vintage good, no holes, with authentic aging. Will make a statement in your Asian decor interior...
Ancient Thailand Buddha bronze head on stand. Tint piece with green patina, most likely Ayutthaya 13-15th c . Head alone 1.5" h by .75" wide over all height 2.5"
A large boat-shaped dish with superbly pierced, repoussed and engraved decoration of lotus flower scrolls. Base with "800" silver and "HISAM" maker's mark. Provenance: Swiss-Dutch family living in Indonesia in the first half of the 20th C. Condition: few traces of usage. Dimension: 31 x 23.2 x 7.1 cm, weight: 383 g.
These eight wayang kulit shadow puppets, called in Bali "ringgits", were bought from a dalang (shadow artist) in Bali around 1960 and had then already a certain age. In a wayang kulit performance, the puppet figures are mostly rear-projected on a linen screen. These puppets are made from rather thick pergament (cowhide) and painted in natural colors, many of them are inscribed with their name on the wooden sticks...
Thai Buddhist Ayutthaya 13-16thc Copper bronze Buddha head. Nice early piece with a red copper metal surface and good green patina. Mounted to a tiny wood base mounted c 1950s. Size over all 3.5" head 2.5" w almost 1.5" wood base is 1.2" square .
A fine Balinese hardwood carving showing the Hindu god Ganesha with his typical elephant head seated on a raised lotus throne. Condition: fine, a bit dusty. Dimension: c. 25.3 cm high, 8 cm deep. For a close depiction please visit the statue TM-15-171 in the "Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam". Collected in situ by a Dutch family in the 1st half of the 20th C.
A charming Sawankhalok celadon glazed figure of an Ox Face (Chinese Sung style celadon)glazed Lime pot. Wonderful mini pot with tall neck and a well molded ox face with cobalt accented horns , one tip broken and the glaze on top of his curling tail has lost its glaze.

Depicted as a round bloated fish with ting front fins and large faired tail and a tiny mouth hole similar to a water dropper Angkor region, Cambodia heavy burial staining. , no restoration. Antique Indonesian Bronze Javanese Standing 4-Arm and 3 face Shiva Statue. Antique statue is dated 16th century - 19th century with heavy green oxidation on the bronze and under the base. Very unique Shiva statue that has 4 arms and 3 faces with a crown like headdress. Approximately 9.5" tall with the base having a diameter of 3.75”.

Cambodian Rare Khmer Lug Handle pot with a thick green black glaze. The body in a grey stoneware with heavy banding covered in a wonderful thick black green glaze that dripped down the lower body. Group of three vintage household woven cane baskets acquired in Kandy, Sri Lanka in the 1990s. These were old at the time of acquisition so I would date them to around 50 years of age. Very sturdy and good condition. Dimensions: 1# 19in/48cm x 15/40cm, 2# 15in/38cm x 8in/20cm, 11in/28cm x 5.5in/14cm. Two have wood bases and tops while the the midsize one is covered in skin (I am guessing goat).

This mask is one of the five characters in Babakan solo dances. Each portrays an individual character. Rumyang represents a prince in his early adulthood. He is sanguine and his moves are quick and passionate. Some wear `height`; 7 3/4" (19.5 cm)

Interesting Bronze Buddha seated on lotus throne with wheel of dharma and two male stag deer in attendance below him. The two male deer are Nigrodha and Sakha, part of a specially poignant Jataka Tale helpful with the teaching of the first sermon at the Deer Park in Sarnath. Helpful with the teaching of the eightfold path to escape and end suffering.
