This white and pink carved coral piece was made around 1960. The artist used the natural coral shape to create two dragons. It is 5 ¼ inches tall and 6 ½ inches at the widest part. Though the subject is common, the carving and polish are very well done. It is in great condition.

A fascinating letter composed by the noted Chinese artist, Xu Beihong (1895-1953). The letter is addressed to a Mr. Fu Wen and discusses about an exhibition and several works of art that Xu Beihong was expressing his congratulations to the person he was writing to. Letter signed by Xu Beihong. Age; 20th century. Size: Length 15.25" Height 12.25"

This very well carved green jade (jadeite) panel is a mid-20th century product. It is 7 ¾” in diameter and a half inch thick (add the carved wood display base, it is 11 7/8” high). It depicts Chinese traditional life style. One side is a farmer with a water buffalo working in the field; his family including an elder and a youngster are watching. A fenced house and trees surround them. The other side depicts three women weaving on a loom...

This finely crafted Chinese Steatite brush washer is an artistically carved pomegranate that sits beautifully attached with vines, small berries and a blooming flower. A beautiful scholar object that was made to rest and wash calligraphy brushes, mid 20th centhury. Dimensions: 3.5 in. Long X 2 in. Tall
