Korean Silla stoneware rounded pot with lid , the body has an elaborate pressed and incised pattern and the lower section has an olive glaze . The lid missing its finial the pot has rim chips . Rare shape nice design. diameter 4.5"h 3.5".

A small delicately enamelled bottle vase painted in 18th Century Qianlong style. The base carries the four character mark of the Qianlong emperor (1736 - 1795) but this item was probably made during the 1930s in the Republic period. Condition - there is an old glued repair to the neck...

DRAGON INKSTONE

Refined skillful stone carving of such dynamic dragon with a ball in the mouth, and also its finishing of lid and fine details with scales are quite aesthetic. Late 20th century, Korea. approx. 17.5 x 11.5 x H 5.5cm (6.88 x 4.52 x 2.16in)...

Chinese gourd shaped vase done in Peking glass with silver wire and fittings covering the vase. The silver fittings contain auspicious motifs such as the character longevity and goldfish. Seated Kwan yins are also adorning the vase. The bottom contain two chop marks, one says wenyin and another reading tianzhu Age:19th/ 20th century - height 6.5" diameter 3.5"

Old Japanese Kanzashi comb and hairpin set with lovely prunus and birds on a tortoiseshell. Late Edo to Meiji. One hairline shown in the last photo is very minor. We had more than one occasion that we had difficult times locating it. The comb is 3 1/4" x 1 5/16"; hairpin is 6 1/4" long and 11/16" wide at the ends.

One Japanese blue and white porcelain dish. Shonsui style decoration in roundels of birds in branches with berries and of peonies, all centered by geometric decoration along the inside of the foliate rim. The back with similar decoration of roudels, blue and white band decoration above the foot rim centering a four character mark within a blue ring. Good condition. Diameter, 7 1/2 inches. Ca 1900/early 20th century...

Tribal Oceanic Papua-New Guinea Sepik River,Lime Container Spirit Playing Flute. DETAILS: A wooden finial elaborately carved in the form of an ancestor, with eyes inlaid with cowrie shells, painted in black, and highlighted with white polychrome, mounted on a hollowed-out bamboo staff with cane bands.

CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, showing the age and usage, with wear and age cracks (as is common in old wood)...

According to Guy van Rijn there were two workshops in those days, where traditional Baule carvers produced objects for commercial purposes. H. 44 cm. Left hand missing, right arm repaired. Old flat face mask showing a superb black soot patina, the vision of this face gives an impression of softness Small mouth with a discreet opening some old traces of glittering paper which has been glued around the yeyx and the mouth. obvious sign of long use possibly from 19th. H25 cm x 16 cm/

A Chinese turquoise glazed vase of flattened form with elephant head side handles covered. The glaze is covered in small crackles and pools at the base. The base left unglazed except for a small section. The base is glazed with the exception of the center where it has been left bare. No markings.

Age: Kangxi Period (1662 - 1722)
