The base is cut to fit though tightly the base I have used nano tape to stick her to the base so none of the figure is covered. Size overall 2.5" figure alone is just under 2" and weighs 6.7G

This is a Cultural Revolution porcelain figurine of Norman Bethune. It is more finely made than most Cultural Revolution figures and shows the Canadian doctor leading a donkey. Bethune served in the communist Eighth Route Army during the Sino-Japanese War and died from blood poisoning contracted in the operating room. He became a major embodiment of the revolutionary martyr in Cultural Revolution mythology...
Japanese glass ojime in a form of tombodama bead of flattened ball shape with inlays of a butterfly and cherry flowers. Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Superbly made piece, in perfect condition. Diameter 0.78 inches.

San Idelfonso blackware jar, burnished finish with abstract designs, early unsigned piece, in the style of Maria Martinez (1887-1980), beautiful condition and good size.
Measures 6" diameter, 4 3/4" high, opening is 3 3/8", bottom is 3 1/8" diameter.
Fairly thick walls, evidence of hand finishing in interior, bottom has spots where it looks like felt buttons were once attached.
Classic designs of feathers, circular shapes, all very precisely done, this was crafted by a highly skilled artisan...
