A large heavy Korean brass bowl or tray that was used to carry smaller bowls of rice and vegetables to men working in the fields. The bowl was wrought to shape, and it shows the evidence of being hand pounded. The Bowl measures about 3 1/2" high x 13 1/2" in diameter, weighs about 3 1/2 pounds, and dates to the early 20th Century. The condition is very good with only minor surface tarnish and corrosion. It was the custom in Korea to polish brass, and such a bowl would shine up beautifully...

Rare zoomorphic medicinal vase or water pot, in ceramic with Song Dynasty type Celadon glaze, in the shape of a puffer fish. Vase from the Khmer or Song period, circa 10th/12th century. Depicted as a round bloated fish with ting front fins and large faired tail and a tiny mouth hole similar to a water dropper Angkor region, Cambodia heavy burial staining. , no restoration. Size 3.5" by 4.5"

The Suspension holes are biconically off set drilled with mineral deposits within. The entire surface is covered in tremolite growth , a wonderful pendant. Size H 2"W over 1.5"

Korean hanging Brown Lacquered Wooden Sword Rack, or Sword Display Shelf, vintage 1960, 26" wide, 22" high, 4 1/2" deep-bottom rack, three(3) Brass inlaid flying geese decoration on the top panel and 3 rows of the curved holders on both sides to hold each sword.
