Pair of English Jacobean Revival flagons. Globular body with scroll handle in brown pottery with granulated salt glaze. Gilt sterling silver neck collar and hinged and domed cover with open scrollwork thumb rest as well as raised foot. Chased strapwork embellished with faces and clusters of fruits and vegetables.

This set comprises 4 pieces: Hand mirror, hairbrush, clothes brush, and button hook. Mirror and hairbrush have armorial backs and tapering and fluted silver handles with vasiform finials. Button hook handle tapering. Clothes brush tubular. Enamel has wavy and radiating pattern with leafing scroll borders and pendant garlands.

Front engraved with a camel, a paragon of drought survival, standing on parched ground with scattered shoots of greenery. In background are palm trees and pyramids. This is an Art Deco English sterling silver globe-shape ashtray with cigarette rest, fully hallmarked for London 1928. This 3-1/4" tall smoking accessory has a square-shape base, and it has the hallmarks for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, the famous London makers of precious metal items. An English sterling silver 2 handle loving cup or large sugar bowl, fully hallmarked for London 1923. It measures 3-5/8" diameter and 2-7/8" tall. This item has never been engraved nor had a monogram. It has very attractive ornate handles and weighs 180 grams. It has a TR maker's mark along with a stamped ROSSI NORWICH 9098 on the bottom for Theodore Rossi. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. Very fine sterling silver trumpet vase with a ruby glass liner. The vase's body is intricately pierced in an acanthus leaf motif to show the rich red liner. The undulating flared rim lends a slight Art Nouveau feeling to the overall look. The base is marked for the Watson Co.

This beautiful comport was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's.
