Hand-carved Chinese Shoushan stone seal, Dragon Tortle. Dimension; 4.53 x 2.32 x 2.32 inches. Weight 1.86 lbs/845 grams. Tips about Shoushan Stone Chinese Fujian Shoushan stone is one of four Chinese traditional stamp stones. There is more than one hundred variety of Shoushan stones. Except for stamps, Shoushan stone is produced for carving people, animal, flower and bird, landscape, stationery, tool, and other art objects.

Stoneware vase by Arne Bang around 1940, with an applied twig of flowers and a very light matte glaze. Signed with the AB monogram and 184, the model number in Bang's sketch book. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm: Condition: some roughness to the underside of the second flower, otherwise fine.

A classic Art Deco porcelain water jug advertising Ricard Anisette. In the south of France, tradition dictates that Ricard and other anise-flavored spirits be drunk with a side of water. Makers such as Ricard and Pernod provided advertising pitchers to local bars to increase their sales. This globe form is the classic shape from the first half of the 20th century. The bottom is marked “Ateliers de Céramique Ricard/Made in France”.

A mounted two line calligraphy attributed to the Buddhist monk, Hong Yi (1880-1942). Born as Li Shutong, Hong Yi was received his education in Japan specializing in Western painting and music.
