An elegant modern form in a Sommerso blend of extremely light tints of blue and green. This fine modern expression is 12" x 4.5" x 4", and is free of chips, cracks, and scratches with a normal wear at the base reflecting its age and an etched Seguso signature. Most likely it was made by Angelo Seguso in the 1970s.

Large Japanese Gigaku demon mask, covered with red, gold, and black lacquer. The colors gold and red are associated with the underworld, especially when apparent in a demon's eyes. This mask sports long fangs, a stubby ridged nose, and furrowed brow. The inside of the mask has rice paper with kanji signature of the sculpting artist. Dates from the Tiasho age c1920. It is 15.5 inches (39.5 cm) in inner circumference. The beads range from 8.2 mm to 20.85 mm wide. The total weight is 95.8 gram.

This pretty pink Dogwood, aka Apple Blossom, depression glass Thin Cup and Saucer was made by MacBeth-Evans from 1929 to 1932. Japanese silk fukusa with yuzen technique and sumi-e hand painting. The shimmering effect of the water was achieved by the delicate use of silver surihaku. Red embroidery on the crane’s head and some white embroidery on tail feathers highlight those features. On the reverse is red rinzu silk with a large peony motif. All four original tassels are still intact. There is a break in the boarder thread in the upper left corner (see last photo) but could be repaired...

Tang Dynasty painted Terracotta figure of a Court Lady , beautiful piece well molded and traces of its original paint. There is no apparent damage but one tip of hair . Collected in the 1920s by a Canadian French Railroad construction engineer. There is an old label in Chinese on the back . There is a piece of tissue in the base so the dirt doesn't come out. Size h 11.5" w almost 2.5" at the hair. Note the neck has NOT been broken!

A fine Art Deco 800 silver graduated jigger in an exaggerated flaring design. The sections measure 1, 1 1/2, and 2 1/2 ounces. The bottom is stamped for 800 silver and has an Italian mark used 1935-38 that was applied to finished silver goods already in the inventories of Italian jewelers and silversmiths.

This Victorian silverplate tea strainer has a shaped rim and handle with a lovely stamped pattern of scrolling leaves and flowers. Condition: very good, minor surface wear. Measurement: 5 7/8 in. x 3 _ in.

This wonderful pair of sterling silver triple candle holder was made in Germany circa 1920. The elegant fluted design decorated candle holders are 10 ¼” high, 11” wide at the widest part and the base is 5 3/8” wide at the widest part. The hallmarks are the crown and half moon, 925 STERLING, and a bear. The candle holders are hollow (not filled with cement) in the bottom there are some weights for stability, but those can be removed by unscrewing the bottom cover...
