A nice and interesting polished Nephrite amulet in the shape of a Cicada, Ming style.

The pendant carved in a rarely seen brown-black stone. This fine nephrite pendant comes from an old German Collection of handpicked Chinese jade carvings of insects from different periods, from the Neolithic to 20th. century. The cicada was carved in a Ming Dynasty Style, but possible from Qing Dynasty, we're not certain.

A Danish footed pewter bowl. Around 1930, hand hammered. Designed by Georg Nilsson and produced by the big Dutch cutlery manufacturer Gero in the Danish factory they had purchased in 1922 and where GN (trained by Georg Jensen) was the chief designer. Marked Gerotin (tin is Danish for pewter). Height "5¼/ 13 cm. Condition: fine.

Chinese Amber carved Chimera Ornament with Macrame knot, 1" 7/8" wide, 5/8" thick, 4 1/2" long with rope overall, nice carved body and face, the condition is good.

This is a Chinese Nephrite JADE PENDANT with a Carving of a LADY. The back has a depiction of a Leaf. Size is 1 5/8" X 3" X 1" in thickness. There is a pierced point at the top where a Pendant Bale can be attached. This Carving has a Primitive feel. Based upon what the original owner told me, this Pendant was purchased in mainland China. Date this JADE LADY circa 1950, perhaps earlier. FYI... the Stone easily passes the Jade Scratch test. Condition is Excellent...

A Japanese Arita porcelain plate or dish of circular form raised on a low foot. Decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a Kingfisher perched amid grasses and lotus fronds, the base has a running Fuku mark. In excellent condition, it measures 6 inches diameter and 1" high.

This Roseville 'Donatello" 9 13/16" interior rim,11 3/4" diameter low bowl was made in 1915. See picture for closeup of factory flaw. Otherwise, perfect

This pattern was product of Harry W. Rhead, and was Roseville's first major success.It has a band cherubs in a wide variety of scenes separated by trees on a light brown background. Several rows of white piping are used to emphasize the rim, base and the band of cherubs. unmarked!

Classic Nephrite Cong. This is oldest Chinese form still used in its art today. The earliest examples were from the Liangzhu Culture circa 3400 BCE. It’s theorized that the square outer shape represented the while the inner round shape represented the Heavens. Nice nephrite jade - very smooth and tactile may be used as a toggle or scholar’s contemplation piece. H: 5.7cm/2.3in and W: 2.7/1.1. 72 grams.

Arts & crafts period copper dish by Gorham, c.1852-1865. It is signed: "GORHAM CO. Y126 (anchor in lozenge) and additional mark" and measures 9 1/2" by7 1/4" 1" high. It has a bronze color patina with some dark spots. There is a slight bend that can easily be straightened out on an edge. Two beautiful and very thinly potted bowls by Sven Hofverberg in his experimental studio in south Sweden. One gold glazed to the interior, the other with an iridescent interior glaze in red and dark blue. The exterior of both with incised striations. The incisions of the smaller bowl are iridescent. The works of Hofverberg (1923-1998) always demonstrate his aim for perfection and concern for the glazes. The gold bowl is unmarked, the smaller bowl with incised SH. A Danish stoneware jar by Per Linneman Schmidt for Palshus, 1960's. Cylindrical, the interior glazed in a speckled grey and brown, the exterior with a dark brown glaze, leaving some stripes and the horizontal border unglazed. Diameter "5¾/ 14,5 cm, height "3¼/ 8 cm. Incised marks Palshus, Denmark, PLS, 403 and painted D. Condition: fine.
