Simple and beautiful silver beaker or small vase with flaring rim and a neat “pearl” border at the base. Made by Van Kempen, Begeer & Vos (1919-60), purveyors to the Dutch Court. Marks: KBV, Dutch silver marks for 835 and year mark for 1921. Height "3¼/ 8 cm. Condition: small dent 2 centimeters from the base (cf photo).

This beautiful sterling silver case was originally meant for cigarettes but could just as easily hold business cards or ???. It is lavishly engraved with an all-over swirling pattern and bears the initials FC in script. The case is 3 1/4" x 2 3/4". It is hallmarked for Birmingham, England, sterling silver, and 1927-28. The maker's mark is FHA & Co.

A handsome Republic or Qing era celadon vase

Large Classical sterling silver covered urn. Made by Currier & Roby in New York, ca 1920. Girdled bowl with leaf-capped s-scroll side handles, stepped foot and stepped and domed cover with vasiform finial. Traditional form with extra oomph. Beautiful proportions and plenty of room for engraving. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

Set of six Georg Jensen sterling demitasse spoons in the coveted "Acanthus" pattern. Each spoon measures 3 3/4" long. Four of the spoons are marked on the back with "GI" in a circle of dots, "Sterling", and "Denmark". These four spoons are circa 1915-1930. The other two spoons are marked "Georg Jensen" in a circle of dots, "Sterling" and "Denmark". These two spoons could be the same age, or possibly date later. They match perfectly. Excellent condition.

Offered is this beautiful green pulled-feather vase, made by Durand (Vineland Glass Company) around 1930. The vase is 6 1/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition. Polished pontil. Unsigned, but guaranteed to have been made by Durand (similar-shaped vase is shown in Meschi's book - see last picture).

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the cup & saucer set in amethyst. The color is a ceramic wash applied over crystal glass. Excellent condition, I have 5 sets available, price is per cup & saucer set. This porcelain vase was produced in France by Thauraud Limoges in the 1920s. It is 6 inches tall and is 6 inches in diameter. The porcelain has a molded pattern in the porcelain, giving it texture. The ground color blends from cobalt blue to light blue. There is a floral decoration, accented with gilding, which follows the molded design. It gives the vase a pate sur pate feel. A Sterling Silver Hand Wrought Arts and Crafts Square Shaped Bowl or Dish, by Arthur Stone of Gardner, Massachusetts. The craftsman was either David Carlson (1909-1919) or Magnus Carlberg (1922-1932). Dimensions; 4.5" x 4.5" x 1.25" high, weight 5.5 Troy ounces. Excellent condition. There is a monogram "JBR" on the underside and the date Jan.15, 1944, presumably given as a gift at that later time.

Absolutely beautiful sterling silver cigarette case with a stunning enameled portrait of a black and white borzoi(?) on a blue background. The interior of the case is gold washed and retains the original elastic bands to hold the cigarettes in place. A very handsome set of twelve sterling silver coffee spoons in a hammered Arts & Crafts design reminiscent of Georg Jensen. The design is very well-conceived, with the arching rows of beads echoing the slightly round indentations left by the hammering process. The spoons are just a bit larger than traditional demitasse spoons, but certainly smaller than teaspoons. The backs are stamped with the guarantee mark of Christian Frederik Heise, who was assay-master in Denmark from 1904 until 1932...
