A pair of decorative table cloths made by Pashtun women, with mirrored, beaded discs ("gul-i-peron") on each corner which serve as protective amulets. The blue bead edging is typical of Pashtun textiles, and is used extensively on purses and clothing as a prophylactic against the evil eye. Silk thread in vibrant colors has been applied in mostly herringbone stitch on a pink cotton background with cording. Each panel measures 26.5 x 26.5 cm.

It is notable that both front and back surfaces of this fine aquarium are ground flat and polished, providing a crisp view of the finely crafted fish. The polishing is a considerable amount of work not usually seen in most Murano glass aquariums. I'm not sure who made this, but the surface polishing, fine detail of the polychrome fish, and the inclusion of glass thread and real sand between the layers of glass clearly render this a unique creation...

It is 4.7 inches (12 cm) tall by 4 inches (10.1 cm) wide. It is 0.8 Lb.
It has firing bursts, skip glazes, and surface wears and scratches (as see in the photos).

Traditional Yemeni necklace with an amulet box, made of silver and coral. First half 20th century. The amulet box has a maker’s mark on the top. The box is 5 cm. wide. The necklace is 48 cm long. From a Dutch private collection. Overall in good condition with expected age wear on the box.
Very fine pair of George VI sterling silver master salt dishes. The salts are raised on paw feet surmounted by lion masks. The everted rims are gadrooned. The salts retain the original cobalt blue glass liners. The salts are identical, but were made in different years by the same silversmith. One has the date mark for 1936 and the other for 1939. The only difference is that glass liner in one is a little thicker than the other.

A hand-embroidered bag made by Pashtun nomads from Ghazni province (probably Katawaz), Afghanistan. Floral motifs combined with arabesques in herringbone stitch in silk thread on a purple silk background. The Bokhara couching technique is used to maximum effect, where the metallic threads are laid parallel to each other and fastened at regular intervals by tiny red stitches. The elegant vintage bracelet, approximately 2¼ inches (57.15 mm) in inner diameter and 83 grams in weight, is artistically designed and skillfully carved. Its strong translucent jadeite material shows very beautiful apple green-white hues. Very rare and in an excellent condition.

Original shin-hanga woodblock print titled "Sacred Grove" by artist Tōshi Yoshida (1911-1995). It is a nature scene showing a red temple with golden doors and roof, partially obscured by trees. The forest floor is mossy and only a small bit of the sky peeks through the treetops. The print is framed behind glass with a large wooden border. The photo shows reflection on the glass but the print is perfect.

A German porcelain chicken figural schnapps or liquor decanter with glasses or cups and tray from the 1920s. This set is in orange, green and yellow luster and the cork-lined stopper shaped like feathers lifts off to reveal a filling hole. It is fully hand painted, the chicken is 8-1/2" long, the two-handled tray is 9-5/8" long and the schnapps shot glasses stand 1-5/8" high and fit on indented circles on the tray...

A very nicely painted delicate porcelain cup, saucer and cup cover painted predominantly with carp but including a lobster and a couple of fish. All three pieces have elaborate painted borders. Gilding is used on the carp and the borders. The two handled cup is marked in red with a stamp, “CHINA” inside an oval.
