The distinct and pleasant fragrance of aloeswood is the result of a special kind of mould and is highly treasured for its use in incense and perfumes among various Eastern religions. When I looked up this Cobalt Stem made by the Huntington Tumbler Company, I didn't realize that they had two styles: "Ding" and "Dong" -- Really!! It's in the Hazel Weatherman's Book 2. We have three of these stems (Ding), all in mint condition. Who said that glass companies had no sense of humor?

Original circa 1930's Chocolat Vinay box, circular, 9 3/4" diameter, 2 1/8" in height, the outer surfaces covered in lithographed patterns featuring what appear to be white roses against a Deco style patterned background. The interior of the box is printed in a gold and violet rose pattern. The bottom is a dark red, with the identification of the manufacturer of the chocolates. The box though it exhibits heavy wear---on the surfaces, and edges----retains a collectability...

This really pretty Laurel Green Sweet Meat Comport was made by Westmoreland Glass in 1978. This Comport measures 6 inches high X 5 inches in diameter at the top. This is a really great ruby red Fan and File childs size play dishes set made by Westmoreland Glass in the 1980s. This set includes a round butter dish with lid which measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter X 2 3/4 inches high and is signed on the bottom Westmoreland. The two handled sugar bowl with lid and handled creamer measure 2 1/4 inches in diameter X 3 1/2 inches high and are signed Westmoreland. All five pieces are in very good condition with no chips or cracks...

Old mask with a severe appearance. The position of the orbits is asymmetrical, the nose is long and tapered. The mouth is small open showing small carved teeth. The inner crving is clean and symmetrical with a cavity for the dancer's nose. The ears are sculpted and large in size. The holes for the passage of the carrying links are of conical sizes, certainly indicating that they were made using the technique of the reddened steel nail...

WMF Ikora patinated metal dish or bowl, Germany c 1930. The surface iridescent in yellow-green and black, in the center a stylized ribbon or flower or an abstract Art Déco motif. Small paper label to the back D11 and the impressed Ikora and WMF factory mark for the German Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik. Diameter "10 / 25 cm. Condition: a wire for hanging fixed by soldering.
